Artificial Skin Cleskin
Cleskin FT (CS-101)
The Full-thickness model is an artificial skin model composed of a complex structure of the epidermis and dermis. This artificial skin model can be used for efficacy testing through in vitro assays (such as testing cosmetic ingredients, pharmaceuticals, and improvement of skin conditions). It can also be utilized for various responsive tests required for tissue regeneration, such as burn models and wound models.
CleCell utilizes induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) to differentiate essential components of the full-thickness model, including keratinocytes and fibroblasts, to construct a uniform quality cellular model. CleCell conducts research on various aspects, such as skin beauty, skin aging, and wound healing, using the full-thickness model.
Cleskin Epidermis (CS-102)
The epidermis model, composed of keratinocytes, is primarily used in artificial skin models for assessing skin sensitivity to cosmetic ingredients and pharmaceuticals. CleCell utilizes induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) to construct an epidermis model using differentiated keratinocytes, ensuring a uniform quality of cells. CleCell conducts research on skin sensitivity using this epidermis model.
Clecell’s Cleskin
Special Features
-
Clecell hiPSC derived-Artificial skin
Solved the problem of uniformity of differentiated skin cells, which has a major impact on maintaining the uniform quality of artificial skin
Secured its own skin cells through infinite cell proliferation
-
Primary Cell derived-Artificial Skin
Difficulty in maintaining uniform quality of artificial skin products due to differences in the characteristics of skin cells by donors
Limited availability of donor’s skin cells through hospitals and medical institutions
